Ezimbuzini Market Trader Stalls were not only completed within the contractual period and within budget, Ezimbuzini Market Trader Stalls construction provided a platform for extensive skills transfer and social upliftment for the surrounding community. 60% of the project scope of works was completed using local labour via local and emerging subcontractors. Again, Temi Construction proves why they are firmly in the top 10 construction companies in South Africa.
Scope:
- 28 open-plan vendor trading stalls;
- 4 fully equipped food-seller stalls;
- refurbishment of the eThekwini Taxi Association taxi rank ablutions;
- an open central courtyard with seating terraces, and
- structural steel portal-framed roofs over all trading areas and mechanical air-extraction for the food courts.
